It appears BJP has successfully recruited this self-proclaimed Shiv-bhakt from within the prominent and visible circle of Congress politicians to throw up beguiling ideas which are then stomped upon by a size 16 shoe –brilliant use of “Refutation” – a very potent rational theme in mass-communication.
Two months back he used “Modi is like a scorpion sitting on a Shivling. You cannot remove him with your hand and you cannot hit it with a ‘chappal’ (slipper) either” as a metaphor to describe NaMo and succeeded in delivering endless chappal-hit on to Congress.
Last month, timing the release of his book to coincide with Nehru’s birthday, he reused ‘Chaiwala Jab’ to describe credentials of Modi saying “If today we have a chai wala as prime minister, it is because Nehru created the institutional structures through which any Indian can aspire to rise to the highest office of the land.” This enabled BJP to launch a stinging attack on the Congress and rising questions about what has Rahul done ever in life to earn a living for himself?
As a student in “Mass Communication in Marketing” my hand rises in awe to salute the strategists designing communication for BJP.
